Bethesda Softworks has announced that they’re once again partnering with Titan Books to bring a little of Tamriel’s lore into the real world. The company will create five “high quality in-universe artifacts” which should be available next year.
The partnership will result in two collections—The Elder Scrolls Online: Tales of Tamriel and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim—The Skyrim Library.
The first, Tales of Tamriel, is a two-volume series that follows the struggle between Aldmeri Dominion, the Daggerfall Covenant and the Ebonheart Pact, as well as the invasion of Prince Molag Bal. The books will contain nearly “one hundred pieces of specially commissioned, never-before-seen art” framed by the lore of the games, according to Bethesda’s press release.
The Skyrim Library will be a three-volume series that chronicles the entire history of Tamriel, plus its cultures, creatures, magic and myths.
All the books in the collections will be available for purchase in March 2015.
