The Funniest Tweets From Last Night's #GOPDebate

They are never going to end. Two weeks after the 2016 election the GOP will hold the first debate for the 2020 election. It’s an endless cycle of sad, desperate people saying anything at all to gain traction with people who get their news from Rush Limbaugh, Breitbart and Mark Levin, only to immediately act like they never said any of it once they win the nomination. It’s good times if you like really bad times, or at least if you like good tweets about bad politicians.

Last night’s debate became instantly iconic after this weird bit of business at the start:

That’s about as cringe-worthy as any Ricky Gervais sitcom. Yes, even Derek, which is intentionally cringe-worthy, but way, way more unintentionally cringe-worthy.
