Firestone Walker Bretta Rose Batch No. 005
This is the first release from Firestone Walker's wild ale program, and the first of five wild ales coming this year. FW took their Bretta Weisse base beer and rested it on 10,000 pounds of local raspberries for four months during the slow fermentation process. It promises to be perfumey and acidic with a dry finish.

SweetWater Blue
SweetWater has been making this blueberry wheat ale for years, but this spring they're introducing the beer in cans. It's light, only vaguely sweet and incredibly easy to drink. Look for it in cans at the end of the month.

Indeed Brewing Strawberry Fields
You want something jammy? Indeed has you covered. This is a sour that's loaded with strawberry concentrate and brewed with wheat and flaked oats, so the beer comes off light and fluffy as well as puckering. The strawberries are there to bring it all together. It's 5.7%, and feels like summer, but is available now through early spring.

Ballast Point Aloha Sculpin
Oh, Sculpin, how I love you, let me count the ways…Ballast Point has a new addition to the Sculpin family with Aloha Sculpin, a hazy IPA that the brewery promises will be a veritable tropical fruit bomb. But the fruity elements in this beer come from the use of Brux Trois yeast instead of any additives. Expect bold notes of pineapple and mango. Aloha, indeed. It debuts this month.

Pelican Brewing Berried at Sea
Oregon's Pelican Brewing (which has been at it for 21 years) takes their Tsunami Stout and adds blackberries and currants for a layer of dark fruit. The outcome is a blend of dark chocolate and tart berry. The beer is part of the limited Lone Pelican Series, a series of large format beers that explore different fruit found in the Pacific Northwest. It's 8%, so don't let the fruit fool you.

Abita Strawberry Lager
This is part of Abita's Harvest series, which adds local fruit juice (strawberry, peach, and blueberry) to their lager and wheat beers. Abita doesn't necessarily enjoy the cachet of some of the other hip craft breweries these days, but you can't deny they know how to do fruit. This particular beer adds a line of berry sweetness to an otherwise crisp lager. It's perfect for drinking on a hot day, and will be available at the end of this month.
