Enough with the Nor’easters and frigid temps, it’s time for the sun to shine and the flowers to bloom. It’s time for “suns out, guns out” hashtags and beach trips. It’s time to scrape the top layer of scum off your swimming pool and drop the top off your T-Bird. Bring. On. Spring. Dammit! We’ve put together a mixed six pack of new beers that are built for warm weather, from a lime gose to a session IPA. And we’re confident that if you drink enough spring beer releases, spring itself will actually rear its beautiful, warm head. Because science.

Harpoon Lime-y Vice
You might be thinking that you're over all of the beer puns, but then a brewery comes out with another Miami Vice gem and you think, "okay, just one more." Harpoon says this Gose was inspired by the city of Miami and built for sipping on a boat. It's a relatively traditional take on the gose with a bit of lime added to the salt and coriander. You can find it now through summer in beach-friendly cans.

New Belgium Mural
Mexico's craft beer scene is booming (600 breweries and counting) and New Belgium has taken notice; they collaborated with Cerverceria Primus in Mexico City to create this "agua fresca" ale brewed with hibiscus, agave, watermelon juice and lime puree. It's light, low ABV (4.2%) and pours pink and bubbly. Look for it in 12 ounce bottles this spring.

Karbach Brewing Weekday Warrior
The buzz around session IPAs has certainly waned but that doesn't mean we're not interested in drinking a new one. Enter Karbach Brewing's new Weekday Warrior, which comes in at a svelte 4.5% ABV and just 125 calories. That's practically a juice cleanse. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm down with any beer that makes me think I'm being healthy.

Lone Tree Brewing Cucumber Wheat
I don't get ahold of Lone Tree's beers that often, but a Cucumber Wheat sounds like just the beverage to sip while sitting on a patio on a warm spring day. Throw in some finger sandwiches and ladies in big hats and the picture is complete. You can only get this wheat beer in a mixed 12 pack between April and September, but don't fret; the other beers in that 12 pack are built for spring and summer too. You get Lone Tree's Mexican Lager, Peach Pale Ale, and Double IPA (because double IPAs are good in any weather).

pFriem Saison
You're gonna have to jump on this one because it's only available until the end of April, but it'll probably be worth the effort. pFriem takes a traditional approach to the saison, brewing this beer in the winter to be consumed in the heat of spring and summer. It's tart, dry and fruity and apparently delivers notes of kumquats. Kumquats, people. Kumquats.

Maui Brewing Waimea Red Ale
I think we could all use a bit of Hawaii in our lives right about now. Maui Brewing is releasing Waimea Red in cans for the first time this spring. They used New Zealand hops to give notes of citrus and pine to this otherwise malty brew. And here's a fun fact: "Waimea" is the Hawaiian word for red waters of the rivers that pick up the color of the red dirt as they run through the islands.
