Pokémon: Sun and Moon just got a new trailer showing off a lot of new Pokémon that players will be able to find in the Alola Region. The trailer is in Japanese, so we translated to the best of our ability, including all of the names translated phonetically into English. However, most, if not all, will change in translation to English. Additionally, we got a few tidbits of lore and know all their types. One interesting thing is the amount of Electric types revealed.
Click through to check out all the new Pokémon in our gallery, and watch the trailer here.

First up is this Electric and Fairy type, whose Japanese name is Kapu Kokeko. It is the guardian of the Meremere Island (name may change in translation) in the Alola Region.

The second new Pokémon is Denjimushi which is a mash-up of the Japanese words for electricity and insect. As that suggests, it will be an Electric and Bug type.

Next up is Jijiron, a Normal and Dragon type, who takes more inspiration from Eastern dragons, with its curved design, than Western fantasy dragons. Its name is likely playing off the Japanese word for grandfather considering its elderly appearance and thick eyebrows.

This little ball of cute is Togedemaru, which literally translates as round with thorns. Very appropriate considering the patches on its back can extend in a bunch of hedgehog-like spikes. Its an Electric and Steel type.
