Nintendo has released a short gameplay clip from the newest installment of the Legend of Zelda franchise, Breath of the Wild.
Posted on Twitter, the clip showcases a few of the abilities Link can harness using Runes. Among the powers gained is the ability to create ice pillars on top of water, which he can then climb on top of. The clip also shows Link levitating a chest out from under the water into the air. The implications and uses for these new abilities range far and wide—including grabbing useful objects from afar or simply smashing as many vases and pots as possible—and the levitation and ice pillar powers will surely prove vital to puzzle-solving and gameplay.
Breath of the Wild will be released in 2017 for WiiU and NX. Watch the new clip above.
