Comic-Con attendees are some of the most patient people I’ve ever seen. At 6pm, just as the Iron Man 3 panel was about to start, a group of folks cheered as they were finally waved into the auditorium. “10 hours!” they shouted. They’d been waiting in line underneath an outdoor tent since 8 a.m. for the chance to get a brief preview and hear from the films’ cast and crew.
Since we didn’t get in line at 4:30 a.m., we missed a 12-minute preview of The Hobbit, but we had a good time wandering the convention floor; attending the After Earth panel; catching Extra’s costume contest; interviewing folks from Breaking Bad, along with William Shatner and producer Roger Corman; and going to the NBC party, where we were kissed by the new star of Animal Practice (she’s a monkey). You know…we did Comic-Con.
