Last week, British songstress Lily Allen shared a poppy new single, “Lost My Mind,” and Thursday she released the accompanying music video. This all precedes the premiere of her fourth album, No Shame, which comes out tomorrow, Friday, June 8. While you wait, there’s also three other singles out there for the dancing: “Higher,” “Three” and “Trigger Bang,” which features English rapper Giggs. You can watch the “Lost My Mind” video down below, or listen to the track itself here.
In the video, Allen is a gravity-defying woman scorned, though that’s not necessarily a new persona for the singer. Her music has always dripped with sass and satire, particularly that which encompasses her most recent LP, 2014’s Sheezus. Prior to that record were It’s Not Me, It’s You and her debut, Alright, Still. We can expect to hear plenty more in-your-face pop bops on Allen’s latest.
Allen also recently announced a heavyweight tour, the dates of which you can find here. Again, you can watch the video for “Lost My Mind” below and for your pre-No Shame pondering, here’s our review of Sheezus.
