Within the space of a year, Moscow-to-Bronx piano savant Regina Spektor released both a sterling new album and a gorgeous Beatles’ cover, reaffirming the artist’s tradition of thoughtful, articulate songcraft. In support of the former project, the September release Remember Us to Life, Spektor embarked on an 18-date tour this month that wraps next month in California. Last week, Paste photographer Reva May stopped by the musician’s Detroit show to shoot a few pictures of her regal performance, which started with “On the Radio” before flowing into “Grand Hotel.”
