The Breeders Release New Track, "Nervous Mary"

The Breeders have unveiled a new single from their comeback album, All Nerve, out on March 2 via 4AD.

The American alt-rock icons announced their first new album in 10 years in January. It will feature the band’s classic lineup of Kim and Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson.

After the release of two brand new songs, “Wait In The Car” and the album’s title track, “Nervous Mary” opens with slow, sleazy haze until the track suddenly jolts you awake with Kim Deal’s typical kick-ass, dead-pan vocals.

Today, the band also launched their “Breeders Digest” Spotify playlist generator—check that out here. Fans can create their own personalized playlist from the band’s catalogue based on their answers to a series of questions. Each of the answers are Breeders’ song titles and the subjects of the questions range from your love life, ideal career, doughnuts and favorite places.
