From the upcoming EP: Six Pack

· 2011 in NYC, Larry Studnicky (the group’s lyricist) introduced his friends John Macom and Charles Czarnecki to each other (both are songwriters and producers). Soon after brothers Kevin and Ken Dow joined. Cold Beer & Broads was formed. Mike DoCampo was added right before the summer 2013 recording sessions that produced FIRST AMENDMENT BLUES.

· Cold Beer & Broads took its name from the optimistic plan that, if ever they make any money selling records, they’re going to blow it all on cold beer and broads.

· Prior to Cold Beer & Broads, the group’s members worked with the likes of Pete Townshend, Brian May & Roger Taylor of Queen, Suge Knight (Death Row Records), LL Cool J, Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit JERSEY BOYS, David Clayton Thomas of Blood Sweat & Tears, Billy Crystal (music for the show 700 SUNDAYS), Fred Schneider of the B-52’s, and Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors.

· In late Spring 2014, Cold Beer & Broads is slated to release a 6-song EP under the title SIX PACK.

· Charles, a classically trained pianist and conductor, at age 21 made his NYC conducting debut at Carnegie Hall leading the New York Pops.

· CBS Sports commissioned John to pen numerous pop-rock tunes about such tennis stars as Anna Kournikova, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick.

· Mike is the author of a popular guitar instructional book called “75 Blues Turnarounds” (Hal Leonard/Cherry Lane).

· Kevin Dow has performed at The White House twice in the last 8 years.

· Larry occasionally uses Suge Knight’s name to get past NYC and South Beach nightclub doormen.
