Since 2002, Vanessa Peters has released 7 albums and played over 1000 shows in 11 countries, opening for the likes of Rhett Miller and Sarah Harmer along the way. Her album, “The Burn The Truth The Lies,” was recorded at Treefort Studio in Austin by engineer Jim Vollentine (Spoon, Patty Griffin) and produced by Rip Rowan (Old 97s). The album's success led to Vanessa being nominated for Best Folk Act by the Dallas Observer, who have called her “the best kind of singer/songwriter.”
Her Christmas album, "The Christmas We Hoped For," was featured on a number of Top 10 lists in 2011, including ones on Rhapsody, About.com, and Amazon.
