People are nuts about tiny houses—they’re environmentally conscious, they’re twee and they’re even portable. Tiny houses have become a front for minimalist lifestyles, and these compact spaces are making a big impression in the travel sphere.
A number of tiny house hotels have popped up within the past few years, suiting those who want to take the tiny lifestyle for a test run or folks who just want to get in on the gimmick. Travel is all about embracing new experiences, so why not try a tiny?

Opened in Portland's Alberta Arts Distract (of course it's Portland) in 2013, Caravan boasts the title of the nation's first tiny house hotel and features six eclectic little havens.
